if its in xlnt condition and low milage 1300 to 1500 if it cosmetically challenged and many miles 500 to 700 my first bike was a cx500 custom with a pro paint job i paid 1400 in 1994

good luck , I it say would not worth more than $500 dollars .. It is known to have stator problems . You have to pull the engine to replace it . The stator sales from 150 to 300 dollars . But like i tell everybody ..Everything is only worth what someone is willing to give you for it . It don’t matter what the book value is . Some people like those old cx500’s .. I own and run a company that rebuilds the stators, starters . For motorcycles so i know about the stator problems .So i would not buy it well that and i don’t ride any longer.
